Una volta che la scienza ha scoperto i batteri probiotici, era solo questione di tempo prima che emergessero prodotti contenenti colture probiotiche volti ad aumentare la qualit\u00e0 della flora intestinale, aumentare il numero di batteri benefici e ripristinare normalmente l\u2019equilibrio intestinale quando distruggono la flora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cosa succede, infatti, quando la flora intestinale viene \u201cdistrutta\u201d? Gli studi hanno dimostrato che quando puliamo una superficie con un forte disinfettante, uccidiamo sia i batteri buoni che quelli cattivi. Nei successivi 15 minuti, i batteri rimanenti (disinfettando comunque, i batteri rimangono da qualche parte) iniziano a riprodursi per ripopolare l\u2019area interessata. I primi a riprodursi e colonizzare l\u2019area sono i batteri gram-negativi. Normalmente il rapporto probatteri\/batteri negativi va dal 65% (probiotici) al 31-32% (batteri negativi) e dal 3-4% di spazi vuoti (non occupati). Pertanto, dopo la \u201cdistruzione\u201d i batteri negativi occupano pi\u00f9 nella prima fase che nel caso del rapporto normale ed equilibrato e quindi dei disturbi chiamati \u201cdistruzione della flora intestinale\u201d. Trascorre un periodo di tempo prima che questo rapporto venga ristabilito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
